Mitchell Hertz
Mitch spent his career at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, chairing the firm’s energy practice group, where he managed transactions in the renewable energy, power and oil and gas sectors. He counseled leading energy companies, as well as private equity clients on their energy industry investments. While at Kirkland, he also served as General Counsel to US Power Generating Company, a NY-based power company. Mitch frequently lectured on both energy policy and energy transactions at law schools and before industry groups.
Mitch, his spouse Anne Carlucci and their west highland terrier Laddie split their time between Naples and Washington, DC. Mitch and Anne are honored to be supporters of Gulfshore Playhouse, contributing to both the Capital Campaign and the Annual Fund. Mitch and Anne are also supporters of other arts and animal welfare organizations.
Mitch earned his law degree from Columbia University (1989) and his B.A. from American University (1986).
